- Active Hood Lift System
- Power Tail Gate System
- Power Trunk Lid System
The Active Hood System detects pedestrians when a vehicle collides with a pedestrian while driving. It detects a pedestrian and raises the hood to prevent a second collision between the pedestrian head and the engine parts inside the hood to minimize pedestrian head injury. It was developed for the first time domestically. The Active Hood System consists of a sensor that identifies the pedestrian, an actuator that lifts the hood, a hood hinge, and a hood latch.
The Power Tail Gate System is a system that automatically opens/closes the tail gate for customer convenience. The product is equipped with a power tail gate latch that automatically locks/unlocks the tail gate and a spindle that allows the output of the motor to be transferred to the hinge to open/close the tail gate. In addition, there is a separate ECU of the Power Tail Gate System installed. The safety logic is set so that the open/close speed of the tail gate is constantly controlled according to the environment/vehicle conditions, and to recognize when an object or person gets stuck in the tail gate.
The Power Trunk Lid System automatically opens/closes the trunk for user convenience. The product consists of a power trunk latch that automatically locks/unlocks the trunk and a drive unit that allows the output of the motor to be transferred to the hinge to open/close the trunk. In addition, a separate ECU of the Power Trunk Lid System is installed so that the open/close speed of the trunk is constantly controlled according to the environment/vehicle conditions, and the safety logic is set to recognize when an object or person gets stuck in the trunk.
